Following the success of the widely acclaimed Art of Forex Volume 1, Xander Wee Gonzales unveils Volume 2 — marking the next strategic step in forex chart mastery. While Volume 1 focused on developing muscle memory for reading price action, Volume 2 introduces the techniques of strategic forecasting. Combining Socratic, constructivist, and tactical teaching, this new release challenges the industry’s formulaic models and guides readers in building self-designed trading systems grounded in logic and critical thinking.

The conceptualization of The Art of Forex Volume 2 began as early as June 2024, four months before the official launch of Volume 1. While the first book introduced the concept of chart vision — a skill coined by the author Xander Wee Gonzales to describe the ability to instinctively read market structure — it was only the foundational stage of forex education. The next step, as laid out in Volume 2, is to help serious traders gain a deeper understanding of price behavior and develop the skillset needed to forecast future movements.

Volume 2 does not focus on theoretical concepts or pre-packaged strategies. Instead, it emphasizes trading system creation — a process that requires readers to actively design their own models. Wee Gonzales’ intent is not only to help traders improve their execution, but also to use forex trading as a platform to sharpen their critical and logical thinking skills.

The conceptualization of the book was the result of ongoing collaboration between Gonzales and The Art of Forex’s managing editor, Marian Alice Meñez. After extensive discussions and strategy development, the creation of the manuscript officially began in August 2024. It was finalized in April 2025, followed by an intensive editorial process.

Teasers and promotional content for Volume 2 began appearing on Gonzales’ official Facebook page as early as May 2025, culminating in the completion of both the manuscript and cover design by July 5, 2025.
